I thought the Italian Genealogical Group’s topic would be of interest to our members, since NYC records are ones most of our members are interested in. Especially for our member whose families moved out of NY, but whose ancestors lived in NYC.

Kelly BodamiKelly Bodami is a professional genealogist who specializes in Italy with a focus on Italian diaspora to New York City. As a native of New York, she has extensive expertise in New York City records. Kelly graduated from City University of New York, Baruch with a BA in History and Sociology in 2008. Prior to transitioning to a career in professional genealogy she worked in non-profit arts administration. She currently lives in Salt Lake City with her husband, Angelo and dog, Mia.
